The MIT Sloan Sports Conference is one of the biggest sports analytics conferences in the country. The conference will take place again in Spring 2025. Speakers and dates will be announced later this year.

Midwest Sports Analytics Meeting
The MSAM aims to support sports analytics research from faculty to undergraduate level. It is a great chance for students to present research to peers and professionals. Any presenters get their registration fees waived for the event. The conference will be virtual this year on Nov. 23, 2024.
SABR (Society for American Baseball Research) hosts an annual conference for like-minded thinkers to get together, discuss, and analyze the game of baseball. The Denman forum allows graduating student researchers to present their research to a broader community. Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium
The Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium has been around since 2005. It is one of the largest annual undergraduate research conferences in the country. This is an opportunity to network with industry professionals, as well as graduate and professional schools. Applications for Spring 2025 will close on October 1st.
The Ohio State University hosts a Young Mathematicians Conference annually in the fall. It includes both student presentations and plenary speakers. The YMC is a great chance to hear from innovative voices in the mathematics industry and present your own research as well.
Council on Undergraduate Research
The council on undergraduate research is hosting a national conference for students to present their research. This is one of the largest undergraduate conferences of this kind, it consists of around 4,000 undergraduate students. The goal of this conference is to promote research, scholarship, and creativity. The 2025 conference will be at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh from April 7-9, 2025.

The NCRC is hosted annually by Harvard, where students from all around the country come to share their research in a variety of subjects, mainly through poster projects. It typically takes place in January and the 2025 conference date is TBD.
Uconn Sports Analytics Symposium
The University of Connecticut is hosting a sports analytics symposium that includes both a data challenge and student submitted presentations. They hosted a successful conference in April 2024. There is no further information about a 2025 conference at this time. It is a great opportunity to present individual research, or get started with a predetermined dataset.
New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports
Harvard is hosting a Symposium on Statistics in Sports. This event occurs every two years, with the next one scheduled for September 2025. At this symposium statisticians and analysts will discuss problems of interests regarding sports analytics.
Cascadia Symposium on Statistics in Sports
This opportunity is taking place in Vancouver, Canada and alternates with the New England Symposium occurring on even numbered years, with the next one occurring in 2026. Th event features student presentations as well as talks from industry professionals.
UCF Big Data and Analytics Symposium
This day-long series of speakers and networking opportunities connects students to industry professionals to explore the practical applications of big data and data analytics in the modern marketplace. This event reached its 11th year in 2024 and the 2025 date is still to be announced.
American Soccer Insights Summit
The ASI Summit is a soccer analytics conference that brings together researchers and analysts from professional teams, media outlets and universities. The agenda strikes a balance between presentations from those doing private work and those doing public work, as well as students showcasing their projects.The 2025 ASI Summit, hosted by Rice University, will last a day and a half starting Friday, Jan 31, 2025, and running all day, Feb 1, 2025.
