His talk will include an introduction to current gambling models and the challenges and opportunities they present, including problem gambling.  REGISTER TODAY! Drazin grew up in Rumson, New Jersey and is a graduate of Blair Academy, Ohio State University, and Dickinson School of Law. In 1976, he joined the Red Bank law firm of Drazin and Warshaw, founded by his late father in the 1940s. Drazin maintains an active law practice and now serves as president of the firm. Drazin started his thoroughbred racing and breeding business some thirty years ago. In the 1990s, Drazin became actively involved in advising the New Jersey racing industry and was the architect of many of the legislative initiatives that have advanced the industry in New Jersey. He served as legislative counsel, general counsel, and president of the NJTHA before leaving that position to serve as chairman of the New Jersey Racing Commission. Drazin was also responsible for leading the effort to obtain the Breeders' Cup at Monmouth Park in 2007. Drazin resigned from the NJRC to lead the NJTHA in acquiring the lease for Monmouth Park, thus saving the track from closure. He currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Darby Development LLC, the company that operates Monmouth Park Race Track, serves as the advisor to the NJTHA and continues to exhibit the highest degree of leadership in his attempts to preserve the New Jersey racing industry.
