The 2020 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference has announced a call for abstracts for this year’s Research Paper Competition! Abstracts can now be submitted on its website. 

 

The Sloan Sports Analytics Conference showcases cutting-edge research that is frequently featured in top media outlets throughout the world and has even changed the way sports are analyzed. The competition is an ideal way to build your reputation within the field of sports analytics.

 

This year’s competition will feature four sports tracks – Basketball, Baseball, Other Sports, and Business of Sports. In addition, all submissions that include code and data will be considered for the Best Open Source paper award. 

 

The deadline to submit your abstract via the website is Monday September 30 2019. The authors of top abstracts will be invited to submit a full manuscript. We expect to send out invitations in the second week of October.

 

Abstracts will be selected based on the novelty, academic rigor and impact of the research.
