A limited number of SSI Sports Analytics Grants will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who commit to working with an SSI faculty affiliate from Summer 2019 through Spring of 2020 to prepare research projects for publication and for submission to the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference.

 

Each grant will include a minimum of $500 in funding, although more funding may be available. Funding to attend the Sloan Conference will also be awarded.

 

To apply for a 2019-20 SSI Sports Analytics Grant, please email the following to Miroslava Marshall by April 1, 2019:

 

1. Your CV or resume.

2. An abstract that describes the research, methods, results, and implications of the research in 300 words or less.

3. A manuscript draft (if available).

4. A preferred SSI faculty affiliate (if any) with whom you would like to work.

 

Awards will be announced on Thursday, April 11, 2019.
