The Freedom Forum invites you to this week's conversation, where USA TODAY sports columnist Christine Brennan will talk about the relationship between athletes and activism and how they are using their fame to shine a spotlight on social movements.

The Freedom Forum exhibit, “Fair Play: Athletes Speak, Assemble, Petition for Freedom,” is currently on display at Reagan National and Dulles International airports. The exhibit tells the stories of athletes using their First Amendment freedoms to make life’s playing field more even for all.

Brennan, who joined USA TODAY in 1997, is also a commentator for ABC News, PBS NewsHour and National Public Radio. She is the best-selling author of seven books.

The program video will be available on the Freedom Forum's YouTube channel.
