Wyner is a leading voice in sports analytics, with work focused on probability models, statistical learning and the ways data can help us better understand decision-making in sports.

This event will explore how analytics are shaping the future of sport, from coaching decisions and player evaluation to media coverage, fan understanding and the limits of what data can tell us. Students, faculty, staff and community members interested in sports, statistics, journalism, communication, business, coaching or athletics are encouraged to attend.

Come learn from one of the nation’s top sports analytics scholars and take part in a conversation about how numbers, context and human judgment come together in modern sports.
