Clapp worked in the broadcast and digital media for more than 20 years as a writer, editor, producer, news director, podcaster, manager, content marketer and strategist.
After 12 years in the broadcast media at CNN/Sports Illustrated and Fox Sports Northwest, he transitioned to the digital marketing side of sports with an emphasis on content creation and inbound marketing.
The Work in Sports podcast is his current pride and joy. As the host, writer, producer, booking agent, audio editor and promotion manager, launching this unique program has been one of his biggest successes to date.
He joins SSI to talk with students about what it takes to get jobs in sports.
