SSI Hosts Workshop on Sports Reporting and Concussions
The Concussion Legacy Foundation Media Project will bring first-of-its-kind programming to Ohio State to train student and professional journalists about properly describing concussions, what should happen during in-game concussion evaluations, and what to expect after a concussion is diagnosed.
Brandon Boyd, education programs manager of the Concussion Legacy Foundation will join us to help foster a better understanding of concussions and to avoid the language that often minimizes head trauma in sports.
This a free program but registration is required. Pizza will be served.
