Don’t miss this opportunity to share and learn about all of the outstanding sports medicine research performed at The Ohio State University.
 
Students, residents, fellows and mentees involved in sports medicine research within OSU Wexner Medical Center and/or OSU academic programs are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts. Please encourage
the students within your Department to consider submitting their work. Posters will be grouped into similar content areas (ex. Biomechanics) and displayed with a team member
available for comments and questions during the first hour of the conference.
 
During the second hour, a facilitator assigned to each content area will lead interested attendees in an in-depth discussion after each team member provides a 2 to 3 minute summary of their work.
 
Deadline for electronic submission is 11:59 PM on Friday, March 1, 2019 Submit to samantha.primmer@osumc.edu. Notifications will go out to authors on Friday, March 15.
 
Sports medicine topics can span basic science to clinical applications and may include the following:
  • Tissue biology
  • Exercise science/physiology
  • Biomechanics
  • Imaging
  • Rehabilitation
  • Clinical outcomes
You may submit an abstract for research already presented or to be presented at other meetings or research never submitted or presented before. At least one author must be aliated with The Ohio State University.  At least one collaborator on your project must be a member of the Sports Medicine Research Institute.
 
Abstracts should be text-only, in a Microsoft Word document with 300 words or fewer and include: Background/Purpose, Methods, Results and Discussion.
