Fri, February 26, 2027
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
TBD

SSI will welcome Simran Sethi, a kinesiology scholar at the University of Kentucky, for an undergraduate-focused research talk examining the experiences of international college athletes.

Sethi’s research explores how international athletes navigate migration, equity, identity, belonging and higher education. A former international NCAA Division I tennis player, she brings both scholarly expertise and personal experience to her examination of the opportunities and challenges international athletes encounter within U.S. college sports.

Designed especially for undergraduate students, the program will connect sports research to broader questions involving education, culture, institutional support and inclusion.
