Interested in sports research but not sure where to begin? This event is the perfect place to start.
Join the Sports and Society Initiative for a welcoming, high-energy research networking event designed to help students connect with faculty, staff and other students who are interested in the role sports play in society, culture, media, health, business, education and community life.
Students will have the chance to learn how sports research projects get started, hear from students already doing research and meet potential faculty research mentors. The event is also designed to help match students with mentorship opportunities, research projects and people who can help them take the next step.
The program will feature the “A+ Research: Where Do You Start?” presentation from Ohio State library representatives, student research presentations and a Q&A panel with faculty and students engaged in sports-related research.
Whether you already have a research idea, want to join an existing project or are simply curious about what research can look like, this is a great opportunity to build connections, ask questions and find your place in the sports research community.
