The countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026 will make a special stop in Columbus later this month. On Friday, August 29, the Sports and Society Initiative will host “The Road to the FIFA World Cup ‘26™”—a rare opportunity to hear directly from some of the biggest names in sports media and soccer.
The event will be held from 2–3 p.m. at the WOSU Community Theater.
