Professional presence matters — in interviews, career fairs, networking conversations, internships and everyday workplace interactions.

This Sports and Society Institute Career Readiness session will help students think about how they introduce themselves, communicate with professionals, follow up after meetings and build confidence in professional settings.

Led by Zach Howman of Arts and Sciences Career Success, the session will focus on practical ways students can strengthen their communication, networking and self-presentation skills.

Students will learn how to talk about their goals, experiences and interests in a clear and professional way as they prepare for career fairs, internships and sports-related opportunities.

This session is designed to help students feel more confident and prepared as they begin making connections across the sports industry.
