Retired basketball player Lawrence Funderburke '94 will join the Sports and Society Initiative on Jan. 26 for a conversation on the intersection of economics, sociology and sports. Funderburke, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), will also discuss his new book, Sociopsychonomics™: How Social Classes Think, Act, and Behave Financially in the Twenty-First Century, which draws from his personal experiences and research to examine the impact of social class dynamics on individuals' financial attitudes and behaviors.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Copies of his book will be available for purchase at a discounted rate, and Funderburke will be available after his talk for book signing.
