The 6th Annual Ohio State Sports Analytics Conference encompasses three days of events, Thursday, March 26 through Saturday, March 28: a virtual conference on March 26, a panel discussing investment in women’s sports at WOSU on March 27, and our in-person conference on March 28 at the Fisher College of Business. The events are student-oriented and free to the public. Over 130 students have given presentations or displayed posters at our conference in its first five years. We have welcomed dozens of guests from major sports teams, media outlets, and more. Morning coffee and lunch are provided at the in-person Analytics Conference on Saturday.
Separate registration is necessary for each event.
Online Conference Thursday, March 26: The virtual conference will take place from 1:00 pm-5:30 pm. Sessions include hackathon finalists, student presentations and discussions with industry leaders. Speakers and presenters will be updated as confirmations are made.

Investing in Women's Sports Panel Friday, March 27: Beginning at 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm at WOSU SSI presents "Investing in Women's Sports" a discussion about the investment potential of women's sports and how those investments are being made in Ohio. Cleveland will be welcoming a WNBA franchise in 2028 and the city of Columbus is hosting both the NCAA women's final four and the NCAA women's Volleyball Championship in 2027. The panel will take place at WOSU (1800 N. Pearl St.). Streaming will also be provided by WOSU.

The Ohio State Sports Analytics Conference in-person portion will take place Saturday, March 28 from 9:00 am- 5:30 pm at the Mason Hall Rotunda and Schoenbaum Hall 105 we will host our in-person sports analytics conference and SSI student research fair. Events will include Hackathon finalists, student research presentations, poster presentations, and sports analytics industry leaders. Schedule coming soon.

- Student Research Presentations and Posters will be a key feature of the events. Students can present online during the Thursday event or in-person on Saturday. Additionally, student research posters will be presented during lunch of the in-person event and on display all day. Students interested in participating in the research presentations can find more information at the research submission link.
