The Sports Analytics Association at Ohio State University, with support from SSI, is hosting its 4th Sports Analytics Conference on April 5-6, in conjunction with the Ohio State Sports & Society Initiative.
We are seeking student researchers to submit their sports-related research projects. Students may opt to present a poster or give up to a 7-minute presentation of their work. All currently enrolled students are eligible to participate. Outstanding presentations and posters will be recognized at the conference.
Students wishing to present their work must submit an abstract. Presentation slots are limited. Time slot allocations will be considered on a rolling basis beginning March 4, 2024. Presentations will be chosen based on quality, topic, and prohibitive travel distances requiring virtual presentations. (Ohio State students are expected to participate in-person.)
Students not selected to present will be permitted to submit posters. In-person presentations will take place on the Ohio State campus on April 6. Virtual presentations will take place on April 5 via Zoom.
Students wishing to submit posters must submit a poster in .pdf format capable of being printed 36” x 48” or less prior to March 18, 2024. Posters will be displayed at the conference throughout the day, and time will be designated for poster discussion.
