Sabrina B. Little is an assistant professor at The Ohio State University’s Salmon P. Chase Center for Civics, Culture, and Society, where her work explores ethics, character education, and moral psychology through the lens of sport. A philosopher trained at Baylor University, Yale Divinity School, and the College of William & Mary, Little is also a former professional ultrarunner—a five-time U.S. national champion, Team USA athlete, and world championship medalist. Her scholarship bridges theory and practice, examining how sport can serve as a laboratory for virtue development, a focus of her 2024 book The Examined Run (Oxford University Press). In addition to her academic work, she is a regular columnist for Psychology Today and iRunFar, bringing philosophical insights on character, competition, and culture to broad public audiences.
