The cost and opportunities of youth athletics — monetary, physical and psychological — will be the focus when Ohio State’s Sports and Society Initiative hosts "The Cost of Professionalizing Youth Sports" April 19 at the Ohio Union.
The event will feature some of the world's foremost leaders in the topic of how money and the quest for athletic success at college and professional levels have changed youth sports. They will speak in two sessions:

The event will take place April 19 in the Ohio Union, Great Hall Meeting Room No. 3. The public is invited and welcome. Registration is suggested.
